    Global Settings

Global settings allow you to modify fundamental features of the tool, offering a greater range of action to the business. Only users with the General Manager or Infrastructure will have access to this functionality in AVS.

    Access to Global Settings

    1. Log in to the AVS website with a user with a Support or Infrastructure Administrator role, select the option Global Settings from the main menu. In the information view, you can access configuration options.

Note: If you log in as Support Manager or Specialist, the option Global Settings will not be available.

Configure MQTT Broker for Device Notification

Configuring the MQTT Broker allows agents to communicate more seamlessly with the AVS application. To use this functionality, it is necessary to have access to an MQTT Broker server, either your own or public. To set up an MQTT server as a device notifier:

    1. In the information view of Global Settings, select the Device Notification Click Edit or on the Expand content.

If there are no previous configurations, the fields will be blank.

    2. Enter the requested fields for the Device Notification option MQTT:

    Field Description Restrictions
Domain or IP MQTT Server Address Maximum 200 characters, required, no initial spaces
Port MQTT connection port Values between 1 and 65535, required

    3. Click the Save to store changes. If the settings are correct, an alert will be displayed confirming the action.

    Note:

    • If there is a previous configuration, it can be viewed and edited when entering the section Device Notification.
    • If you enter incorrect values in the fields, the system will display the alert to correct them.
    • After updating the configuration, it is recommended that you restart or recycle the application pool AVSAgentWebAppPool on the application server. It can take up to 30 minutes for agents to apply the new settings.
    • If incorrect configuration is made, it will not be possible to remotely take control of the workstations from the support session, even if they are in an active state.
