Configure the remote administration functionality for Cloud environments, taking into account the following options:
Outbound connection
This is the method for agents whose point is to the Conserver or the Repserver. In Cloud architecture, remote administration is carried out through an outbound connection: the devices send the information to a notification server, without the Repserver or the Conserver requiring a direct connection to them.
Communication is done using WebSockets, establishing a persistent bidirectional connection between the ADM agent and the notification server.
Agents must have unrestricted access to the https://Dominio/repserver/Notificationmessage URL, which applies regardless of whether the agent is pointed to Repserver or Conserver.
⚐ Notes:
- Remote administration is only supported on secure sites with HTTPS protocol.
- Remote administration requires TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 communication to be enabled. For security, older versions of TLS are not supported.
Enable Functionality by Database
1. To enable the Remote Management Configuration Cloud architecture or architectures with devices that are outside the LAN network, run the following script:
SELECT * FROM afw_settings WHERE sett_key = 'EnableServerNotification'
UPDATE afw_settings SET sett_value = 'true' WHERE sett_key = 'EnableServerNotification'
Required Ports and Permits
2. Validate the Required Ports and Permissions ADM Agents (Cloud Architecture).
⚐ Note: Once ADM is installed, from the web interface, you will be able to consult the device information with Remote Administration in the inventory management process. For more information, see Remote Device Management on the ADM Management Manual
