Currently, the ADM tool, used for remote control with ARC, uses the HardwareHash value of the AVS_DEVICE table as a key. This table is used to validate devices before allowing remote control. However, if another device has the same HardwareHash value, it is not possible to perform remote control.

The generation of the HardwareHash in ADM and AVS is modified. In cases where unique identifiers are not possible, a hash is generated from the device name and the system UUID.
