Group Targeting - Software Use and Licensing

The visibility segmentation functionality by groups is continued, extending its scope to the Use of software and Software licensing.

Use of software

Software usage is directly segmented, as this information is associated with devices, which in turn inherit segmentation configured by user groups.

Software Licensing

The sections that show the total number of licenses, used licenses, and available licenses also incorporate the number of licenses installed on devices that the user does not have access to. This maintains consistency in total licenses for all users, regardless of the number of devices they have access to based on configured targeting.

On the Licensed devices From the license detail, segmentation is applied and only the devices related to the user who consults the information are shown. Similarly, the sections that show installations only present the information of the devices to which the user has access according to the configured segmentation.
