The need for an alternative to continue patching was identified when direct download from the manufacturer may present drawbacks. In these cases, ADM reports this condition by a visible warning in the update and enables the action Create/edit software distribution for the user to manually manage its distribution.
The ability to create or edit a distribution project from the selected patch is incorporated. The project is automatically generated with the prefix ASD- and only associates devices in state Not installed that have a distribution license. Unlike installing updates from the module Updates, this functionality does not run an automatic distribution of the patch, but enables its manual management from the distribution module.
