A limitation was identified in the processes of distribution of large packages in ADM, where in the event of an interruption during download, the process had to be completely restarted on both the agents and the Preserve, leading to rework, increased network consumption, and distribution delays.
An improvement in the packet distribution logic is released that allows downloads to continue in the event of temporary interruptions.
Starting with this release, agents and the Preserve that are updated will be able to resume downloads from the point where the process was interrupted, avoiding a complete restart. Components that do not have this update will maintain the full discharge behavior, without affecting their current operation.
With this enhancement, the use of network resources is optimized and the reliability of distributions in environments with variable connectivity is increased.
⚐ IMPORTANT: While a distribution is running, the associated package cannot be modified or updated, ensuring the integrity and consistency of the distribution process.
