    Creating Configuration Items (Version 2)

    In version two (V2) of creating configuration items, additional fields are dynamically generated when the project and category fields are completed.

    To create configuration items using the connector Aranda Service Management Consider the following steps:

    1. Select the function Create Configuration Item (V2)

    2. Type or select a value for the properties “Project” and “Category”.

    The properties associated with the configuration item will be generated as shown in the following image:

    3. Enter or relate a field for the properties:

    Date of delivery to the company

    4. Select, type, or relate a field for CI properties:

    Manufacturer

    Reason  
    Measure unit  
    Cost center  
    Impact  
    Provider  
      Additional fields

    The values for the additional fields are added as shown in the next section: Additional fields

    Note:

    • The properties that are added by selecting from a drop-down list depend on each other; For example, the property Location, CostCenter depends on the property Project, because they are associated with a project.

    5. Run the connector and verify the response:


    The connector will respond with a status of “200”.

    6. Verify the case creation by logging into your environment.
