Log Logging Functionality for Google Maps
A new checkbox has been included in the map configuration form in the Web Configuration Console (BASDK). This checkbox, dubbed “Turn on Log Logging,” gives users the ability to enable or disable log logging by consuming the Google Maps provider’s API (Basic – Premium).
When the “Enable log logging” checkbox is enabled, the logs are stored centrally in the AFW_MAP_PROVIDER_LOG table. This enhancement will make it easier to track and analyze interactions with the Google Maps API, providing a clearer and more detailed view of the operations performed.
To control the number of records stored, a task has been implemented in the DBManager service. It is recommended to update the DBManager using the Aranda Tools 8.8.4.
⚐ NOTES OR ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Run the “Aranda.ASDK.Web.Installer.exe” file and follow the installer’s instructions.

- If you have any custom settings in the web.config files, you must reapply the setting.
- Aranda Service Desk consoles that use rich text control are only supported up to IE10. Alternatively, other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox can be used.
- Tags corresponding to HTML fields such as description, solution and notes, will not apply style changes.
