    Settings are made in the Specialist Web Console (ASDKV8) to control the number of characters included in the body of the mail when using the Send Mail from Case functionality. These settings apply specifically to environments that use the Oracle database engine.

    These adjustments are necessary due to a limitation in the Oracle client, which imposes restrictions on the amount of information a variable can receive; In particular, when images are added to the body of the email, they are stored in base64 format, which means that sending a large image can generate more than 100,000 characters.

    Therefore, if you want to include images within the body of the email, it is recommended to use the “CustomImageManagement” tool of the text editor to insert them; This tool allows you to handle images more efficiently and avoids problems related to the number of characters

    ⚐ NOTAS O INSTRUCCIONES ADICIONALES:

    • Ejecute el archivo “Aranda.ASDK.WebV8.Installer.exe” y siga las instrucciones del instalador.
    • El archivo ejecutable funciona como instalador y como herramienta de actualización.
    • Esta actualización aplica únicamente para bases de datos en versión 8.0.164.

    • En el motor de DB Oracle el tamaño máximo del contenido de un artículo es de 32.000 caracteres. Si requiere incluir imágenes se recomienda utilizar imágenes de URL pública o vinculadas a un repositorio remoto. De esta forma al almacenarse en DB serán referenciadas con la URL de la imagen y ocupando menor espacio. No se recomienda pegar imágenes locales ya que se referencian como imágenes completas en base64.
    • Los tag´s correspondientes a campos que son HTML como descripción, solución y notas, no aplicarán cambios de estilos.
