In this section, you can manage application categories, which can then be used to classify applications into one or more of these categories.

This has a direct effect on the way the Metrics Dashboard is presented, since the categories set up here are taken as a reference to classify and filter the information later.

Main Listing

The categories currently created are presented, with the option of deletion. To detail a category, click on the name of the category and the information will be displayed on the right-hand side.

For eliminate a category, click on the category, and then click on the trash can icon to proceed to delete it. A category can only be deleted if no application is referring to it.

For edit a category, click the category name, and then edit the category fields on the left, then click Save to persist the changes, or click Cancel to discard the changes.

For create a new category click on the New button, then fill in the fields on the left side and then click on Save. The new category will be automatically displayed in the list.

For to find a category in the listing, enter the search parameter in the search text drawer, and then click the magnifying glass or press Enter. The list will be filtered according to the search parameter entered.
