    - It is recommended that Hard Drives be SSD or SAS of 15,000 RPM.

Warning: In case of virtualizing this server, it is recommended to reserve the physical resources in a 1:1 ratio with respect to the virtual resources (Resource Allocation). This recommendation applies to RAM, Processor and Hard Drives.

    Database Server

    Requirements Description
Operating system Windows Server 2016/2019 Standard Edition or higher, x64, with the latest SP versions installed
    RAM 6 GB
Hard Drives DD 0 (RAID 1): Partition C: 100 GB (OS, Transaction Log LDF) DD 1 (RAID 10): Partition D: 10 GB (Data Files MDF)
SQL Server Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2017/2019 Standard or Enterprise. Installation with: Full Text Search and Mixed Authentication.

Additional Requirements Ensure connectivity from the application server to the database server.

Note RAM Memory: SQL should be configured to only consume 4GB and leave the rest of the capacity available to the operating system.

    Note Hard Drives:

    - Being a little more expensive, option 1 is the most recommended, since its operation is much faster for random reads and writes operations in MDFs and for sequential reads and writes in LDFs.
    - Hard drives can be inside the server or accessible to it via a SAN (Storage Area Network).

    - For Cluster proposals, they must have shared storage.
    - It is recommended that Hard Drives be SSD or SAS of 15,000 RPM.

    - The space in GB is as required and can be increased in any of the 3 options.

Warning: In case of virtualizing this server, it is recommended to reserve the physical resources in a 1:1 ratio with respect to the virtual resources (Resource Allocation). This recommendation applies to RAM, Processor and Hard Disks In case of virtualizing this server, it is not recommended to create virtual disks using Thin Provisioning.
