To start device management with ADM, it is recommended to comply with different installation and configuration stages to take into account:

1. Installing ADM Components
In the ADM installation process, different components are defined for the operation and management of the discovered devices. The minimum ADM installation components are: Web Console, ADM Agent, Remote Support Viewer, and Conserver.

2. Set Up Licensing
From the installed ADM web console configuration view, you can upload the required license file (Machine Key), associate the licensed devices, and add the users who will use the different licenses by ADM functionality.

3. Configure and Synchronize Users
From the installed ADM web console configuration view, you can define users, groups, and roles that manage ADM. You will also be able to synchronize and import the active directory of users and integrate with Aranda CMDB for complete asset management of linked devices.

4. Set up communications
From the installed ADM web console configuration view, establish communications between components such as servers and repserver and perform a connection test.

5. Generate Distribution Project
From the installed ADM web console configuration view, define a ADM Agent Distribution Project for the devices that will be linked in inventory management, in parallel you will be able to carry out Creating the Agent Package to be distributed, Agent profile settings and the Device discovery to be linked.

6. Set up Content Manager
From the installed ADM Web Console Configuration View, Define the storage path for downloading updates, distributions, reports, among others.

7. ADM Agent Deployment
In the ADM installation process, you can access the ADM agent distribution and installation process, either through ADM Distribution Management or by using the domain policy.

8. Device Inventory
Once the ADM agent is installed on the required devices, from the ADM home and configuration console, you will be able to start the inventory management of hardware and software devices, consult the related information for management processes such as updates, software usage, energy policies or data monitoring and analysis.
