⚐ Note: This section will be enabled for devices that are online and is only visible in the detail of devices that are virtualizers.
Visualize Virtualized Appliances
ADM includes in the inventory virtualized appliances, and the hypervisors where they are located. are hosted for Microsoft’s Hyper-V virtualization technologies. Here it is possible to perform some tasks of administration of virtual environments.
⚐ Note: Aranda Device Management supports Hyper-V version 2012 to 2016.
1. For proper VM management, in the information view of the ADM Startup Console, you will be able to filter the information of virtualized inventoried devices when accessing the Filters by category .
2. In the Inventory Device Detail View, select the Virtualization where you can consult information associated with virtualized devices, grouped into the following sections:
Configuring Virtual Machine Access
On the Virtualization You can select the credential with which to access the device containing the hypervisor or create a new one by clicking Create Credential.
Keep in mind that the device must be in the Online.
⚐ Note: The credential must be linked to the Hyper-V Administrators or Administrators group in the Team management of the device.
Virtualization
On the Virtualization, you can manage the virtual machines configured on the selected device.
Click on the virtual machine to view all the information related to it.
Click on the virtual machine icon to see the actions you can perform on it:
