Create Credentials
1. To configure credentials, go to the Settings view of the ADM Management Console, in the ADM section of the main menu select the Credentials. In the Credentials information view, you can view the credential records that have been created.
⚐ Note: In the field To find you can type the name of the credential and press Enter; In the information view, you can view credentials that match the value provided in the lookup field.
2. To create a credential, in the information view, select the New; A window is enabled to enter the basic information with a short name, and type of credential.
3. The types of Credentials available are: Windows, SNMP V1, SNMP V2, SNMP V3 and SSH. According to the type of credential selected, required fields are enabled in the detailed information.

| Credential Type | It is the protocol that can be used to monitor the network. |
| Community | Name of the company’s network. |
| Port | Communication destination. |
| Authentication Method | It consists of establishing a username, a password in order to protect identities. |
| Encryption Method | It is an encryption algorithm. |
| Domain/User | Unique name that identifies the company’s network and person. |
| Password | Key to authenticate to the resource. |
Windows Credential Type
4. If the selected Credential type is Windows Enter the domain\username, password, and confirm password.
SSH Credential Type
5. If the selected Credential type is SSH Enter the username, password, confirm password and port.
Credential Type SNMPV1 SNMPV2
6. If the selected Credential type is SNMPV1 OR SNMPV2 Enter the community, confirm the community and port.
SNMPV3 Credential Type
7. If the selected Credential type is SNMPV3 Enter the credential name, username, authentication method, authentication password, confirm authentication password, encryption method, encryption password, confirm encryption password, and port.
8. When you finish setting up the credential, click the 
Save to confirm the changes made.
Edit Credentials
9. In the Credentials information view, select a created record.
10. In the detail view click on the Edit 
and modify the required information (fields).
11. When you finish editing the credential, click the Save to confirm the changes made.
⚐ Note: If you have passwords for discovery by (ssh) created in lower versions of ADM 9.21.0, you must update the password type to ssh for the correct operation of discovery by this protocol, since the new password types were included in version 9.21.0.
Delete credentials
12. In the Credentials information view, select a created record Click the Eliminate to execute the required action. You will be able to see the message “You want to delete this item.”; Click Accept.
